We worked with Abel and Labelle Building to fully renovate our 100 year old family home. The craftsmanship and precision was of the highest quality. He was efficient, honest, and organized as a general contractor and his scope of work from demolition to finish work and custom cabinetry was vast and knowledgeable. We were most impressed by Abel's integrity and ability to listen and communicate. He was willing to meet our demanding design needs and questions with options and understanding. When something wasn't quite what we envisioned, he took the extra time to work with us until we were satisfied. Abel works hard, is a creative problem solver, and is realistic about time and budget. Finding a reliable contractor is difficult. Finding a reliable contractor on a small island in Maine is damn near impossible. LaBelle Building was recommended by several close friends to help our family with designing and re-engineering a large deck and screened-in porch.
